I love everything about the @EastSolanoPlan dubbed California Forever project.

The fact that it will bring tens of thousands of needed housing units to California. The fact that it will be purpose-built for modern living with walkability and parks and neighborhood shopping. The fact that it has so many environmentally sensitive features baked into it. The fact that it already has financing because its backers are billionaires.

But most of all, I love it because of the absurdity of so many housing advocates falling over themselves opposing it for thinly veiled reasons that all culminate at: We don’t like rich people making more money.
