Harsh reality is that we’re on track to get safe streets at scale for my kids at California Forever before we ever get them in SF, and not for lack of trying. California Forever is shifting the Overton window by even aspiring in the direction of an independent childhood — way beyond any vision I’ve ever heard from any CA or even US city. That is important.
