We’re Solano residents, and we support California Forever.

I stand behind this community for my granddaughter who lives in Vallejo, I want her to have a house nearby someday.

As a father of two young kids, I think often about the communities they will grow up in, this is why I support California Forever. Introducing new jobs, restaurants, parks and housing in the area will only benefit the growth and advancement of our Solano County communities.

I was a part of the start up for California forever. I help run the campaigns, promoting the idea and dream. I believe in and participated in town halls as well as be the face of promoting California forever through media. I am a huge believer from the beginning.

As a young adult who grew up in Solano County and spent my youth noticing the lack of walkable areas and spaces to engage within the community, I support California Forever. I hope to see it come to fruition so the wonderful people in my hometown can afford to stay here and flourish as a community outside of the dystopian suburban car-centric neighborhood model.

I believe in growth, and therefore acknowledge the economic benefits and new businesses California Forever aims to bring to Solano.

I believe that this project is what Solano County needs. It will be beneficial for the economy and promote growth in our community.

As a Vallejo native, I support the growth and development of my community. Clean energy and sufficient jobs are what we need to advance further for a better future.

Having grown up in Rio Vista, I have always loved the area and community. I left for better education and employment opportunities, but would love to one day move back. I have long felt that Solano County needs significant investment and I think California Forever can provide that. I would love to one day open my own studio practice where I can support local artists and teach art to the community, and the new town through California Forever seems like a great opportunity for this.

What I appreciate the most about the project is that it will create tens of thousands of good paying jobs and be an economic engine for the entire county. Many residents waste two to four hours commuting outside of the county every single day. This initiative paves the way to create jobs closer to home – that means more time spent with children, parents, grandparents, family and friends. A walkable, sustainable community with safe and vibrant neighborhoods is greatly needed.

I’m a disabled veteran living in Solano and have been looking for a place ever since my divorce. I’m a father to five boys and one girl, they’re all grown and gone, but I know my boys will help me in a time of need. I’d love continue being in Solano given I’ve been here for 17 years going back-and-forth from Travis Air Force Base David Grant Hospital. I am a faithful member of the Bay North Church of Christ, and I thank God for bringing us California Forever!

This is a bold endeavor, one to shape the landscape of Solano and California. I hope that this project paves the way for the New American City.

You don’t NOT begin something just because parts of it seem problematic. You begin something because it’s important. This project is important because future generations will benefit how much they will benefit depends on your participation and input.

I support the plans for the new city development because it will boost local jobs and create new job opportunities within the county. I have children and it would be great to see that when they get ready for the workforce, they will have a chance to remain within the local job market if they choose to.

A ray of hope. More than the promises that traditional politicians make to improve Solano that have come to naught, the plans presented by California Forever have hit the right buttons for us. They make sense in many aspects for the county. It’s like a breath of fresh air.

Northern California is one of the most beautiful places on earth. However, home construction has not kept up with demand. Our region’s housing shortage is creating access and affordability challenges. Many in my family are seriously thinking about leaving the state. This initiative could go a long way toward solving our local housing problems through the construction of a complete community with good-paying jobs and a mix of housing for all income levels.

I’ve been living in Fairfield and Suisun since 1963. When I heard about a project called California Forever, a new city being proposed to be built in our area, I was happy and excited! Not only is it going to be an environmentally friendly community, but it’s also going to bring thousands of new high-paying jobs to our community. Let’s support this project and leap together into the future!

In 1998, my wife and I bought our first home right here in Suisun City. We schooled and raised our children here. One thing we noticed in Fairfield and Suisun is that amenities were scarce. That’s why we are so excited to hear about California Forever investing in much-needed housing, jobs, and amenities in our community!

My mother and I are homeowners in Rio Vista at the Trilogy community. Me and my mother support the California Forever project. It will be nice to see an improved Solano County that will benefit everyone in the community—let’s do it together!

I love the idea of a green city with everything we need near Vallejo and within Solano. This County deserves the best.

Walkability is key to having a relationship with your surroundings and the community you reside with. Using a car for 100% of transportation needs creates a literal barrier between you and your neighbors. Having a denser, more easily walkable neighborhood design deeply resonates with me. It can foster more Third Spaces, as well as deeper human connection.

Coming from an immigrant family and single mom who laid her roots in Fairfield at a young age, I want to see our diverse County succeed. California Forever offers the opportunity to leave a positive imprint on our future—a solution I have not seen before.

I think it’s important for us to have a new community between Rio Vista and Fairfield where all the things we have to go out of town for will be located just 5 miles down the road. My husband and I own the Rio Vista Holistic Health Center and many times we have to send people to the hospital out of town, maybe for X-rays, but more importantly for emergency cases that need urgent care. We are a small clinic and don’t have everything. I urge you to vote yes.

In this area, it can be hard to find many things at an affordable price. I also hate feeling homebound in bad weather due to fear of traveling on Highway 12 or 113. I support this project because many issues will be addressed and more amenities will be offered for Rio Vista residents.
