Julie Daigle

Fri Dec 6 2024

Julie grew up in a small, self-sustainable agricultural town in Northern Maine where there was a strong sense of community. Growing up surrounded by nature’s beauty and in an education model that was the heart of the community helped prepare her to be the pioneer and visionary that she is. She attributes her pioneering spirit to her French Acadian lineage. Her great grandfather was given the first charter of land by King Louis XIV to establish an Acadian settlement in the St. John Valley.

Julie graduated from the University of Maine with a B.S. in Education with a clear intention to move to California and establish intergenerational preschools of her own. Over the span of 40 years, Julie has owned and operated Montessori schools throughout the bay area. She’s excited to be a member of the California Forever team in hopes that she can help design a “new intergenerational education model” for Solano county residents; one that will create a strong sense of community and connection to the beauty that surrounds it.

I support California Forever

I believe in Solano County and California that build again. Let’s build new industries, affordable homes, and clean energy for this generation and generations to come.
